Turkey’s agricultural sector recorded a record number of exports during the first nine months of this year, reaching $24.5 billion.

According to data from the Turkish Exporters Association “TİM” on Wednesday, exports of the agricultural sector increased by 17 percent between January and September 2022.
The value of agricultural exports during the mentioned period amounted to $24.5 billion, thus the sector achieved the highest value of exports in 9 months in the country’s history.
Thus, the share of the agricultural sector in the total Turkish exports reached 14.5 percent.

Iraq ranked first among countries importing Turkish agricultural products, with a value of 1.7 billion dollars, followed by Germany with 138.8 million dollars.
