Turkish coast guard teams on Tuesday rescued 88 irregular migrants off the coast of Mugla in the west of the country.
Coast Guard teams received a distress call from irregular migrants off the coast of Fethiye, due to the failure of the engine of their boat.

The teams rescued 32 migrants who were on the boat before referring them to the state’s immigration department.
The coast guard teams also received a report about the presence of two boats of irregular migrants off the coast of the “Bodrum” region, forcing them to return to Turkish territorial waters.
The teams managed to rescue 56 migrants on board the two boats, and then referred them to the Immigration Department in Mugla.
