On Wednesday, the Turkish Ministry of Health announced that 356 deaths were recorded due to the Coronavirus, bringing the toll to 41,883.
According to the Ministry’s data, the past twenty-four hours witnessed the registration of 26,476 cases of corona, bringing the total to 4 million and 955 thousand and 224 cases.

The death toll from the virus also reached 4 million 589,501, after 35,464 people recovered.
229,491 tests were conducted to detect Corona, bringing the total to 48,459,224.
On Thursday, Turkey began implementing a complete lockdown for 3 weeks as part of the measures to confront Corona in all of the country’s 81 states.
The closure also started from 7 pm on April 29 to 5 am on Monday, May 17, according to a Ministry of Interior circular.
