Trump: Pro-Palestine Protests is Allowed During 2026 World Cup

US President Donald Trump announced that pro-Palestine protests will be allowed during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted by his country, Canada, and Mexico.

This announcement came during a press conference with FIFA President Gianni Infantino at the White House on Wednesday.

Trump clarified that potential pro-Palestinian protests during the 2026 World Cup in the United States will not be prohibited, saying, “People have the right to protest, but it has to be in a reasonable manner.”

The United States, along with Canada and Mexico, will host the 2026 FIFA World Cup from June 11 to July 19.

More than 8 million soccer fans are expected to travel to the United States for the tournament.
