Turkish TOGG continued to lead the electric car market in the country with sales of 24,361 cars and a market share of 29 percent in the 11 months of 2024.
According to data from the Automotive Dealers Association (ODMD) on Wednesday, the number of sales of “fully electric” cars increased by 38.6 percent in the period from January to November 2024 to reach 83,298 cars.
TOGG, which continues to increase its sales among electric car brands, maintained its market leadership in the 11 months of this year.
With sales of 24,361 cars in the 11 months of 2024, TOGG outperformed its closest competitor by 15,134 cars.

Tesla ranked second in sales with 9,227 cars, and BMW ranked third with 8,041 cars.
TOGG was founded on June 25, 2018 under the patronage of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
TOGG laid the foundation stone for its first technology complex in July 2020 before opening it on October 29 of the same year with the participation of President Erdogan, where the company celebrated the production of its first C SUV.
Turkey owns 100 percent of the intellectual and industrial rights to the car, and through it it seeks to create a global brand and form the nucleus of an integrated Turkish transportation system.
