And the Associated Press reported that the US Food and Drug Administration has approved the drug, which was produced by Pfizer, for use by adults and children aged 12 or older.
Those who have tested positive for coronavirus are at risk of hospitalization.

The agency added that the drug called “Paxlovid” is a faster and cheaper way to treat early corona infection, although the initial supplies of the drug will be very limited.
