Alper Küçük, Director General of International Affairs and Immigration Services of the Turkish Red Crescent, said that his foundation delivered humanitarian aid to more than 30 million people in need last year.
In a statement Thursday on the sidelines of his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Küçük said that the Turkish Red Crescent has representative offices in 18 countries around the world.
He added that the various activities of the Red Crescent take place annually in 50 countries around the world.

He continued, saying: “We distribute the humanitarian aid that we collect from donors and from our citizens to the needy all over the world, and in the past world only, we delivered humanitarian aid to more than 30 million needy people.”
He stressed that Turkey is one of the countries that bestows humanitarian aid to the needy, although its economic capabilities are not the best among the countries of the world.
