Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu announced that Syrians will not be allowed to visit their country during the upcoming Eid al-Adha holiday.
This came in a speech during a press conference Saturday in the capital, Ankara, in which he said: “Similar to Eid al-Fitr, we will not allow the Syrians to visit their country during the Eid al-Adha holiday.”
In another context, he stated that the percentage of foreigners who are allowed to reside in each neighborhood will be reduced from 25 percent to 20 percent, starting from 1 July.
