During the first quarter of this year 2022, the Turkish economy achieved a growth of 7.3 percent, according to data published by the Turkish Statistics Authority on Tuesday.

The data showed that the estimate of GDP during the first three months of 2022 increased by 7.3 percent compared to the same period last year.
She pointed out that the GDP estimate at current prices increased by 79.5 percent in the first quarter of the year compared to the same period in 2021 and amounted to two trillion and 496 billion and 328 million Turkish liras (the dollar is equivalent to 16.40 liras).
The data added that the value of the gross domestic product for the first quarter at current prices amounted to 179 billion and 800 million dollars.

And economists had previously expected that the growth of the Turkish economy during the first quarter of this year would reach 7.2 percent.
