
The Pentagon announced on Tuesday that the United States does not charge anyone in the attempt to assassinate Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi.
This comes a day after the US Central Military Command accused Iranian militias of being behind the attempted assassination of Al-Kazemi.

He added that the Pentagon is investigating the hypothesis that Iranian-backed militias carried out the attack on Al-Kazemi.
