Turkish Reza Kaya Alp won the gold medal in the World Roman Wrestling Championships in the 130kg category, defeating his Iranian competitor, Amin Mirzazadeh.

And that Gaia Alp won the championship held in the Serbian capital Belgrade, to win the gold on the fourth day of the competition.
With this victory, Kaya Alp is the most Turkish man to win the World Roman Wrestling Championship for the fifth time.
In turn, Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Kasapoglu congratulated Kaya Alp on his achievement of the gold medal in the World Roman Wrestling Championship.

He expressed his pride in winning and thanked all the Turkish athletes who contributed to raising their country’s flag high.
