Promoting Tourism in Turkey During US Elections

The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced that promotional films prepared by the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency were shown during the US presidential elections, which helped promote tourism in Turkey through international news channels in more than 200 countries around the world.

The ministry said in a statement published on Wednesday that advertisements about Turkish tourism destinations were widely shown on the world stage during the US presidential elections held on Tuesday.

During the election period, films prepared by the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency were shown during commercial breaks on international news channels in more than 200 countries, such as CNN, BBC, Euronews, Bloomberg and Al Jazeera.

The films highlighted Turkey’s most prominent tourist destinations as well as its strengths in areas such as sustainability, history and culinary culture on a global level.
