Istanbul airports saw a 7 percent increase in the number of passengers in the first 10 months of this year, reaching 101 million 983 thousand 265 people, compared to the same period last year.
According to information from the website of the General Directorate of State Airports Authority, 67 million 530 thousand 932 people traveled through Istanbul Airport in the period from January to October of this year.
Thus, the total number of passengers at Istanbul Airport during the mentioned period increased by approximately 5 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
The number of passengers at Sabiha Gökçen Airport also increased by 12 percent in the same period, reaching 3 million 705 thousand 611.
This data does not include Istanbul Ataturk International Airport.
