Justice and Development Party spokesman Ömer Çelik said: “Our armed forces serving in Afghanistan and contributing to peace and stability for the friendly Afghan people have accomplished another mission. We congratulate our heroic soldiers.”
Çelik also said: “In this context, our soldiers who served in the Kabul airport mission that we have been carrying out for 6 years are returning to our homeland.
Turkey will continue to stand by the Afghan people as long as they want it, Turkey is a reliable friend, brother, and ally.”
