The President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Ersin Tatar, said on Sunday that Turkey, which he described as his “motherland,” has become an influential global power.
This came at the conclusion of the Teknofest Aerospace and Technology Festival, held in the TRNC under the supervision of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation and in cooperation with the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology.
Tatar explained that his country is an integral part of the Turkish nation, expressing his happiness with the participation of the strongest Turkish defense industry companies in the festival.
He added that the products displayed at Teknofest reflect Turkey’s independence and achievements.
Tatar stressed the importance of the efforts made to achieve the stability, security, and sustainability of the TRNC within the “Century of Turkey” vision, and noted that Turkey shares its successes with the Turkic world, friendly countries, and Islamic countries.
On Thursday, Teknofest activities began in the TRNC and continued until Sunday under the supervision of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation and in cooperation with the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology.
The festival, the largest of its kind in the world, was held with the participation of 132 institutions, including government agencies, major technology companies, universities, and media organizations.
