President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wished Taksim Mosque to be useful.
President Erdogan said in a post on his Twitter account: “I hope that our mosque in which we perform the first Friday prayers today will be a good way for Istanbul, our country and the world of Islam that will not be absent.”
In Erdogan’s message, the photo, which was published with the title “Our nation has reached its 150-year-old dream today,” included special information about the mosque.
