Fethiye district in the Turkish state of Muğla ranked third among the best global destinations for beach holidays according to the British newspaper “The Times” for the month of October.
The statement of the Fethiye Municipality on Wednesday stated that the Fethiye resort is one of the most important centers on the Turkish Riviera and an ideal choice for families.
The statement added that the resort provides the opportunity to explore the mountains covered with pine trees by bike, and relax on the wide sandy area of Ölüdeniz Beach (Dead Sea).
The resort also provides the possibility of walking along the historical “Lycian Way”, which is classified as one of the ten most beautiful hiking routes in the world.
