European countries accounted for 83 percent of Turkey’s automotive exports during the period January-October 2024.
According to data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly, the sector’s exports increased by 6.5 percent during the ten months compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching $30 billion 511 million 79 thousand.
The data indicated that the automotive sector recorded sales exceeding $30 billion for the first time in its history during the period January-October.
It showed that the share of European countries in the sector’s exports during the period January-October of this year amounted to $25 billion 306 million 150 thousand, thus accounting for 83 percent of foreign sales.
Germany, Britain, France, Italy and Spain topped the list of European countries importing Turkish products during the mentioned period.
