Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay stressed on Tuesday his country’s permanent support for Azerbaijan.

In a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Oktay expressed his regret over the resumption of clashes with Armenia, stressing Ankara’s solidarity with Baku at all times.
In turn, the Azerbaijani Prime Minister thanked Turkey, its President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and its people for their solidarity and continuous support for his country.
And yesterday, Monday, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry announced the outbreak of intense border clashes as a result of provocations from the Armenian side.
It noted in a statement that the Azerbaijani army, in turn, took the necessary measures to silence the Armenian sources of fire and prevent the expansion of clashes.

It confirmed that the Armenian forces participating in the provocative operations incurred losses in life and equipment.
