Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that those who do not prevent the war, genocide, and crimes against humanity committed by Israel will be held accountable “before history and before the conscience of humanity, sooner or later.”
This came in a speech he delivered on Thursday during an iftar banquet at the Justice and Development Party (AKP) headquarters in the capital, Ankara, attended by a number of former parliamentarians.
Erdogan explained that “those who kill children by relying on the powers they rely on will, God willing, drown in the blood of the innocents they shed.”
He reiterated that Turkey will continue to stand by its Palestinian brothers and “will be on the right side of history.” He also indicated that Turkey will support the oppressed Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip with all its might.
