The lens of Turkish documentary producer Tahsin Ceylan captured the hidden beauty under the water in the Fethiye region of Muğla, Turkey, which attracts diving enthusiasts in every season.
During the diving trip as part of the “Underwater Diving Tourism Workshop” organized by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Muğla Governorate, photos were taken of coral reefs, endangered Caretta caretta turtles, and sea urchins.
Ceylan said that the tourist area of Fethiye has a unique beauty.
He mentioned that Fethiye is one of the places frequented by diving enthusiasts, and it is among the areas that have suffered the most from the changes that the Mediterranean ecosystem has witnessed in recent years.
He explained that the area contains beautiful coral reefs in its depths and is an area rich in many animals and plants.
Thousands of Turkish and foreign tourists visit Fethiye every year to enjoy its stunning nature, charming coasts on the Aegean Sea, and ancient cities, in addition to practicing paragliding from Mount Babadağ, which is 1,965 meters high.
