On Wednesday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visited the Yad Vashem Holocaust History Museum in West Jerusalem.

This came on the sidelines of an official visit to Israel, the first by a Turkish foreign minister in 15 years.
Çavuşoğlu laid a wreath at the memorial to the Holocaust (the genocide of the Jews) and recorded it in the museum’s memorial book.
Later in the day, the Turkish Foreign Minister is scheduled to meet with his Israeli counterpart Yair Lapid.

Yesterday, Çavuşoğlu visit Palestine, during which he met his counterpart Riyad al-Maliki and President Mahmoud Abbas.
