Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu announced an upcoming visit of his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, to Turkey on June 8 to discuss opening a safe trade corridor through the Black Sea ports, including the passage of wheat.

This came in response to the questions of “Anadolu Agency” editors during his visit to the agency on Tuesday at its headquarters in the capital, Ankara.

Commenting on the crisis between Russia and Ukraine, Çavuşoğlu said that Turkey was seeking to bring the parties back to the talks.
