Duran, the Director of Communications, posted on his NSosyal account regarding President Erdoğan’s speech at the second G20 Leaders’ Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa.
In his post, Duran quoted Erdoğan’s remarks, recalling his statements about the 31st Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP31), which will be held in Turkey next year, and his commitment to quadrupling solar and wind energy capacity by 2035.
Duran stated, “This strong vision clearly demonstrates Turkey’s commitment to the energy transition.
This steady increase in clean energy investments significantly contributes to our energy independence and sustainable future.
We will continue to stand with the Palestinian people.”
Duran added, “We will continue to stand with the Palestinian people.” Duran emphasized that President Erdoğan has once again drawn the international community’s attention to the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza, stating:
“As our President has declared, maintaining the ceasefire in Gaza is a fundamental condition not only for the Palestinian people but also for global peace.
The loss of development in Palestine over the past 70 years, as revealed by UN data, once again underscores the extent of the devastation inflicted by Israel.
We in Turkey will continue to stand with the Palestinian people, as we always have, to ensure the continuation of the ceasefire and the reconstruction of Gaza.
This stance is a natural reflection of our humanitarian values and our vision for regional and global peace.
The path to lasting peace is clear: the two-state solution. The sincere contribution of the international community to these efforts will pave the way for a just and lasting solution.”
