The touristic province of Antalya in southern Turkey provides diving enthusiasts with the possibility of exploring the charming underwater marine terrain, in addition to the natural beauty of the region on land.
The city of Antalya, which receives millions of tourists and visitors annually, is distinguished by its sea, sand, natural beauty, and historical and tourist sites.
It is famous for the splendor of its clean sea waters, which constitutes an ideal environment for diving and marine exploration.
The historic “Ege Castle” area in the city comes at the forefront of those ideal places for diving, as the area embraces underwater slopes that were formed over millions of years and have become a habitat for various marine creatures and fish.

Vacationers dive under the sea in the area to watch schools of fish, beautiful slopes, and coral reefs, and some even enjoy feeding schools of fish.
The head of the Antalya Water Hobbies Association, Samih Basaran, said that tourists embark on a fantasy journey by diving at the point where the historic “Ege Castle” meets the sea.
He explained that the area has become a point of attraction for diving enthusiasts.
He said: “Our area has different depth levels suitable for beginners and experienced divers, and those wishing to obtain diving certificates at different levels can attend monthly and weekly courses.”
He pointed out that beginners are allowed to dive for 30 minutes and those with intermediate experience for 40 minutes.
