The Turkish province of Antalya received 9 million, 58 thousand, and 186 tourists during the first seven months of this year, an increase of 10.06 percent compared to the same period last year.
Russian tourists topped the list with 2 million, 40 thousand, and 316 tourists, while Germans came in second place with 1 million, 770 thousand, and 225 tourists, followed by Britain with 874 thousand, and 356.
In July, Antalya hosted 2 million, 742 thousand, and 965 tourists, recording an increase of 2.71 percent compared to the same month last year.
Antalya is considered one of the most important tourist attractions in the world thanks to the warmth of its sea water, golden sands, and the beauty of its enchanting nature.
Antalya receives millions of tourists annually, and the districts of Aksu, Manavgat, Serik, Alanya and Kemer are among the most famous tourist resorts in the province.
