Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that Antalya Airport achieved a record yesterday, Saturday, with the number of flights reaching 1,179 flights.
The Turkish minister said in statements on Sunday that Antalya Airport conducted 1,179 flights yesterday, including 1,054 external flights.
He explained that the airport served 186,711 passengers on external lines and 19,310 on domestic lines.
Antalya (southwest) is famous for the beauty of its beaches and waters, in addition to its historical places and luxurious tourist resorts, which makes it one of the favorite tourist destinations for tourists from different countries of the world, and therefore it is called the “Capital of Tourism.”
