This came in an interview he made while hosting the Anatolia editorial meeting at the agency’s headquarters in the capital, Ankara.
Akar explained that the global food crisis caused by the war between Russia and Ukraine could affect the migration movement from Africa to Europe and Turkey.
He added, “In Russia’s ports, foodstuffs and chemicals are awaiting shipment, and we would be happy if we made a contribution in this regard.”
