The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a message of condolence regarding the terrorist attack in Syria. According to the statement, it included the following:
“We offer our condolences to the families of the victims who lost their lives in the treacherous attack on a church in Damascus today and to the Syrian people. We wish a speedy recovery to the injured.”
The ministry’s statement emphasized that this attack targeted efforts to establish stability and security in Syria and aimed to destabilize peace and social tranquility.
“Turkey will continue to stand by Syria,” the statement continued. “We have full confidence that the Syrian administration and people will maintain their unity and solidarity.
They will continue to resolutely fight terrorist organizations seeking to create chaos in the country.” The statement affirmed that Türkiye will continue to stand by Syria and provide it with all forms of support.
