
A total of 266 aftershocks were recorded in Istanbul, according to data from the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) as of 9:00 a.m. today.
This follows a 6.2-magnitude earthquake that struck off the coast of Silivri in the Sea of Marmara at 12:49 p.m. yesterday.
There were 266 aftershocks, 258 of which were between 0 and 4 magnitude, seven between 4 and 5 magnitude, and one above 5 magnitude.
