Turkey’s ASELSAN Signs $52.7 Million Export Agreement

Turkish defense company ASELSAN announced the signing of a $52.7 million export agreement with a customer in the Pacific region.

ASELSAN published a statement on Thursday regarding the agreement on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).

The statement read: “ASELSAN has signed export contracts with a customer in the Pacific region for the direct sale of radar, weapon, air defense, and data link systems for naval platforms, with a total value of $52.7 million.”

The company did not disclose the entity with which it signed the contract.

ASELSAN was founded in 1975 at the initiative of the Turkish Armed Forces Development Foundation to meet the Turkish military’s communications needs. It is known for manufacturing electronic systems and devices for military purposes.
