Erdoğan said in a post on the X platform: “On the second anniversary of the February 6 earthquakes that shook us all deeply, opened great wounds in our hearts, and left unforgettable traces in the memory of our people, I ask God’s mercy for every one of our 53,537 brothers we lost.”
Erdoğan also wished patience and solace to the families of the citizens who lost their lives in the earthquakes and to the Turkish people in general, and Erdoğan pledged to continue working to rebuild the affected areas until they were completely revived.
