The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish clothing company LC Waikiki, Vahap Küçük, said that they intend to open stores in Syria again once stability is restored following the fall of the Assad regime.

In a press conference in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the listing of the “LC Waikiki” brand on the global stage, Küçük indicated that they are receiving requests to obtain sales agencies and franchise rights for the company’s products in Syria.

He pointed out that the company considers Syria a nearby geographical area, and noted that they had previously established a company there and would go themselves to open stores after stability is achieved.

According to Küçük, the company has 1,300 stores spread across 61 countries on 5 continents.

He pointed out that the company achieved a growth of 55 percent in 2024.

Küçük explained that the company’s stores will spread across 20 additional countries by 2026, bringing the total to 80 countries.

Asked about the company’s intention to open stores in Syria, Küçük said: “The situation in Syria is new and we are waiting, we hope the situation will stabilize soon.”

He added: “Before the war, we had a store in Syria and we were making efforts to expand quickly to other stores and we established a company ourselves.”
