Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced that the World Tourism Organization has selected the village of Ormana, located in the southern province of Antalya, as the “Best Tourist Village” in the world.
In a post on the “X” platform on Saturday, he described this crowning of the village by the United Nations World Tourism Organization as “a pride for Turkey.”
He added that this classification is also an international certificate of Ormana’s contribution to sustainable tourism and rural development thanks to its unique history and natural beauty.
He stressed that choosing Ormana as the “Best Tourist Village” is an opportunity to promote the region’s tourism on a global level.
