The Turkish tourism capital Antalya, overlooking the Mediterranean, received 16 million, 131 thousand, and 847 tourists during the first ten months of the current year 2024.
Data from the Directorate of Culture and Tourism in Antalya showed that the number of tourists coming to the province recorded an increase of 8 percent compared to the same period last year.
In terms of the nationalities of tourists who visit Antalya the most, Russians topped the list with 3 million, 764 thousand, and 693 tourists, followed by Germans with 3 million, 298 thousand, and 154, then the British with 1 million, 487 thousand, and 429 visitors.
In October alone, Antalya received 2 million, 60 thousand, and 433 tourists, recording an increase of 9 percent compared to the same month in 2023.
