Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that Turkey is the only country that imposed economic restrictions on Israel due to its massacres against the Palestinian people.
This came in a speech delivered by Erdogan on Saturday during a forum organized by his Justice and Development Party in Istanbul.
Erdogan said that “the Israeli government invents new pretexts every day to legitimize its policy of invasion and occupation.”
He added: “Our brothers in Gaza have continued to resist the Zionist invaders for 364 days despite the lack of resources.”
He stressed that “Western powers cannot raise their voices against (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu and his gang that commits massacres due to the shame of the Holocaust, although they know their true intentions very well.”
