Istanbul International Airport topped the list of European airports in terms of number of flights between August 12 and 18, with an average of 1,510 flights per day.
This came according to the statistical report of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation, which includes a list of the busiest airports in Europe.
According to the report, Schiphol Airport in the Dutch capital Amsterdam came in second place, followed by Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.
