The Camel Wrestling Festival was held on Monday in the Selcuk district of Izmir, in the west of the country, amidst an enthusiastic atmosphere.
160 camels participated in the competitions of the 41st edition of the “Efes Selcuk Camel Wrestling Festival”.
The festival receives great interest from the people of the region and citizens coming from neighboring states and districts.
Despite the cold weather, many citizens attended the early morning hours to watch the competitions.
