Diversity of goods distinguishes the imports of the most importing countries

Turkey’s exports to the most importing countries were distinguished by their diversity and not limited to one product, according to the data shown by the exports of the first 9 months of this year.

This comes as part of Turkey’s strategy to diversify its export markets in conjunction with diversifying its export commodities.

According to data from the Turkish Exporters Council, export revenues amounted to 22 billion and 616 million dollars last September, a growth of 9.2 percent compared to the same month last year.

Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Iraq and Russia topped the list of countries importing the most from Turkey last September.

According to this, Germany imported from Turkey one billion and 640 million dollars, followed by the United Kingdom with one billion and 128 million dollars, then the United States one billion and 127 million dollars, Iraq one billion and 8 million, and finally Russia 925 million and 428 thousand dollars.

Last September, the growth of Turkish exports to Germany reached 5.8 percent, and Iraq 18.6 percent, while the growth rate of exports to Russia reached 105.5 percent, the United Kingdom 7.9 percent, and the United States 9.3 percent.

Turkish goods exported to the mentioned countries varied, with cars leading the imports of Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.

On the other hand, grains and oilseeds topped the list of Iraq’s imports from Turkey, while chemicals constituted the largest proportion of Turkish exports to Russia.
