President Erdogan arrives on a visit to Azerbaijan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in the Azerbaijani capital Baku on Saturday at the invitation of his counterpart Ilham Aliyev.

The Turkish President was received at Heydar Aliyev Airport by a number of officials, led by Deputy Prime Minister Yakub Ayubov and Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov.

The Turkish president is accompanied on his trip by his wife, Amina, and each of the foreign ministers, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu

Education Mehmet Ozer, Agriculture and Forestry Vahid Kirishci, Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoglu.

The delegation also included the AKP’s spokesman, Omer Celik, and the two deputy chairmen of the party, Omer Elri, and Efkan Ala.

As well as the head of the presidential communications department, Fahrettin Altun, and the presidential spokesman, Ibrahim kalin.

President Erdogan left Heydar Aliyev Airport to participate in the Technovest Aviation and Space Technology Festival, which is being held in Baku, and is being organized for the first time outside Turkey.

President Erdogan is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with his counterpart Aliyev, and they will meet over dinner during the visit, which coincides with Azerbaijan’s celebration of its independence day.

Erdogan’s visit to Azerbaijan will last for one day, according to a previous statement by the Turkish Presidency Communication Department.
