189 migrants rescued off Turkey’s western coast

On Thursday, Turkish authorities rescued 189 irregular migrants who were stranded off the coast of several western states.

The Coast Guard Command in the state of Izmir (west) said in a statement that its teams rescued 81 migrants off the coast of Seferi Hesar and Fucheh districts.

Also, coast guard teams in Janak Qala state (Northwest) rescued 57 migrants off the coast of Ayucık.

Coast guard teams in Mugla state (southwest) rescued 23 migrants off the coast of Bodrum district.

In turn, the Coast Guard Command in the state of Aydin (west) said in a statement that its teams rescued 28 migrants off the coast of Gosh Adasi.
