On Wednesday, the Turkish Interior Ministry announced the surrender of a terrorist from the PKK terrorist organization to the security forces after escaping from the organization’s camps.
A statement issued by the ministry stated that terrorists’ surrender operations are increasing, thanks to the persuasion efforts undertaken by the gendarmerie and security commands in coordination with the ministry.

The statement indicated that the terrorist who surrendered joined the organization in 2019, and carried out terrorist activities in Syria.
It pointed out that the number of terrorists who surrendered to the security forces after persuasion efforts since the beginning of this year has reached 4.
