On Monday, Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Sedat Unal met his Russian counterpart Andrei Rudenko in Istanbul.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a tweet via Twitter that Unal and Rudenko chaired a consultative meeting between the two countries.

The Foreign Ministry pointed out that the political consultations between the two sides dealt with the files of the South Caucasus, Central Asia, Afghanistan, and other regional issues.
