On Friday, Turkish Trade Minister Mehmet Muş announced that his country’s exports during September amounted to $20.8 billion.
Muş held a press conference with the head of the country’s Exporters Council in the capital, Ankara, in which he touched on the economic situation in Turkey.

He said that Turkey’s exports in the last 12 months set a new record in the history of the republic at $212.2 billion.
He explained that the country’s exports rose by 30 percent last September compared to the same period last year, achieving $20.8 billion.
He added: For the first time in the history of our republic, our exports (on a monthly basis) crossed the $20 billion thresholds.
Mosh pointed out that the volume of foreign trade last September amounted to 44.2 billion dollars, which is the highest on a monthly basis.
