The official account of “UEFA” on Twitter: “After moving the 2021 final from Istanbul to Porto, Istanbul will organize the final in 2023.”
UEFA also decided to grant Istanbul the honor of hosting the group stage draw events for the continental competitions in the next two seasons.
And UEFA stated in a separate tweet: “The start of the European club season, which includes the draw for the group stage of the Champions League.
The European League and the European Conferences League will be held in Istanbul at the end of August in both the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons.
The Champions League final for the 2020/2021 season was scheduled to be held in Istanbul, but the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic caused it to be moved to Porto, Portugal.
