14 suspects of being members of the terrorist organization DAESH and financing the organization were arrested in 8 provinces based in Balikesir.

As part of the investigation against ISIS, the Balikesir Public Prosecutor’s Office issued an arrest warrant for 14 suspects allegedly belonging to and financing the organization in 2018-2019.
14 suspects were arrested in the simultaneous operation of the Regional Gendarmerie Command Team in Balikesir, Ankara, Bursa, Istanbul, Izmir, Konya Nevsehir, and Sakarya.
It was learned that a large number of regulatory materials were seized during the searches conducted at the addresses of the suspects, and the defendants’ actions are continuing in the gendarmerie.
