According to the schedule, 219,737 coronavirus tests were conducted in Turkey during the past 24 hours.
The result of the examination of 4,678 people was positive, 35 people died, and the number of recovery cases reached 4,735 people.
The latest death toll was 36 on August 28, 2020, 311 days later, and this was the first time the number had fallen below this figure.
Among the population over the age of 18, the proportion of those who received the first dose of the vaccine was 58.40 percent, and the proportion of those who received the second dose was 25.55 percent.
As part of the fight against COVID-19, a total of 1,051,537 vaccines have been administered in the past 24 hours with the first, second, and third doses.

The number of vaccines made in Turkey has so far increased to 53 million 659 thousand 272, of which 36 million 251 thousand and 519 are first doses.
In addition to 15 million and 858 thousand and 588-second doses, and one million and 549 thousand and 165 third doses.
The 10 counties with the highest rate of people receiving at least one dose of the vaccine were:
Muğla, Çanakkale, Kırklareli, Edirne, Balıkesir, Eskişehir, Amasya, Aydın, Bilecik and Izmir respectively.
The provinces with the lowest rate of at least one dose of vaccination are also listed as Siirt, Bitlis, Şanlıurfa, Mardin, Muş, Diyarbakır, Şırnak, Batman, AĞRI and Bingöl.
