The European Museum Forum has nominated three Turkish museums for the 2025 European Museum Award.
The forum awards prizes to recognize excellence and encourage innovation in the field of museums in the competition that has been held annually since 1977.
The forum has selected three museums from Turkey as candidates for the 2025 awards, namely the Istanbul Modern Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the İşbank Museum of Painting and Sculpture, and the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology.
The annual European Museum Awards conference is scheduled to be held in Bialystok, Poland, from 21 to 25 May 2025.
