The Turkish authorities arrested 120 irregular migrants trying to leave the country illegally in the southwestern province of Mugla.

The gendarmerie teams spotted a group of irregular migrants in the “Ortaja” area of the state, trying to leave the country illegally through a ship called “BIRIUZA” and flying the Russian flag.
The teams raided the ship to seize 120 people, including women and children, who held the nationalities of Afghanistan, Egypt and Palestine.

After completing the necessary procedures against them, the migrants were referred to the Directorate of Security in the state.
