Turkey’s exports to Bulgaria set records in 2022

The volume of Turkey’s exports to its neighbor Bulgaria amounted to 4 billion and 420 million dollars in the past year 2022, setting a record.

According to information from the Turkish Exporters Council (TİM), the volume of Turkish exports to Bulgaria in 2022 increased by 21.4 percent compared to 2021.

The proportion of Turkish exports to Bulgaria amounted to 1.7 percent of the country’s total exports, and the European country ranked 13th in terms of the volume of Turkish imports.

The chemical industries sector ranked first for Turkish exports to Bulgaria with 731 million and 990 thousand dollars.

Then the iron and non-ferrous metals sector came second, with 624 million and 566 thousand
